Working on the Farm

Hours of work

The majority of work on our farm will be on piecework basis, when weather plus state of the crop will play a part.

The farm usually works 6 days week, crop, weather and customer demand permitting. Due to the nature of your role there are no set or standard hours for you. You are not guaranteed a minimum number of hours of work each week and in a particular week you may receive no work at all from the Employer. Repeated non-availability for work unless through sickness or prior agreement is likely to be considered good reason to terminate your employment.

We will endeavour to give you advance notice of any hours that you will be required to work in a particular work week.
