Rates of pay

The majority of the work at TW Busby & Son will be on a piece work basis. This means the more you pick, the more you can earn. Rates vary according to crop and weather conditions, and may change daily. All rates are in accordance with the UK Agricultural Wages Board rate, which is decided before the harvest. There is no variation in wages between foreign and British students.

Hourly work is also available; as per the UK Agricultural Wages Board rate.
