T. W. BUSBY & SONDEARNSDALE FARM, HAUGHTON,
|
If you come from a country within the EU you will not need a work permit but you need to register under the "Workers Registration Scheme" with the Home Office once you are here. Assistance will be provided to do this by TW Busby & Son
All Non-EU Nationals who work at TW Busby & Son must have a valid work permit. If you are a student in full time education you may be eligible for a place on the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Scheme (SAWS) run by licensed operators approved by the Home Office
To be part of the Scheme, you need to be a full-time student (but not in your final year) aged at least 18 and hold a full passport. Details of the Scheme can be found on the Working in the UK website.
For recruitment please contact HOPS (GB) on www.hopsgb.org.uk - the licensed operator with whom TW Busby & Son are registered.
Non-EU students require work permits to enable them to work in the UK. If you are a student from a Commonwealth country, you can work in the UK provided you have a "Working Holiday" permit. These can be obtained from the British Embassy in your home country before you travel to the UK.
Opportunities exist for all EU nationals. Assistance with registering with the "Workers Registration Scheme" is available on request for non-UK citizens.
If you arrive on the farm without the correct documentation, we will be unable to give you work or accommodation.
